So Far Away... At Camp

"So far away
Doesn't anybody stay in one place anymore?"
- Carol King, "So Far Away"

Shayna left for sleepaway camp this morning, the 2nd year in a row she went. Climbed up on that bus this morning with nary a look behind. (sniff!)

We miss her already, but we're glad she's independent and self-confident enough to go. How ironic that the greatest gift you can give your kids is the one they must earn in your despite... self reliance.

Have fun, Shayna, and miss us - but not too much!

We can only hope she sends back letters as amusing as last year's.
