My Daughter The Comic

Today we received Shayna's first postcard from camp. Here it is verbatim, speling erors and all:
Dear Peaples,

Hi. Yesterday my suit case fell to the bottom of the lake. Therefor Iv’e been wearing the same cloths for a wile. Male me some more cloths.

Thank you!!

From Shayna

P.S. Just Kiding
Well, at least she's inherited my sense of humor! Though we would have liked to get just a little bit of real information such as what she's doing, whether she's made friends, if she's happy, etc.

But I guess we can sort of assume she's fine if she's writing cards like that one!

Is Shayna's letter Alfred E. Newman-esque or what?

Methinks that Shayna should've written: "Hello, Muddah, hello Fuddah..."

Wait -- oh ya, that's been done already!

Hope the kids have a happy and healthy and safe summer in their respective camps.
