Doing The Blog Limbo
"Hello.
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone home?"
- Pink Floyd, "Comfortably Numb"
"Im ani caan, hakol caan" - "If I am here, everybody is here" - Hillel
Well at least I think they're still here, but my Sitemeter has been stuck on the same number - 28,156 - for three days now. I send their sysmanager an email a couple of days ago and haven't seen any response yet. Is anyone else having this same problem?
It feels lonely and weird not to see the visitors number moving (not that it ever moves very fast, mind you!). It's like having a broken odometer. And it also reminds me of an old Mary Tyler Moore episode - anyone remember the one I mean?
Anyway, I do have a substantive post I'm working on; a post-Purim d'var Torah. Hopefully later today. Meanwhile, give me a shout if you're still there!

How do you think I feel? I visited your blog 5 times or so in the past few days? No one's visiting you but I'm now no one!
David: You ain't nobody (double negative = positive, right?)
The counter on the bottom is incrementing again, but Sitemeter still shows zero visits for today. Hope they get it fixed soon.
Dear Reb Elie,
I drop by your site a couple of times daily. I have noticed a problem with my counter too.

Yup I am here and have been here in last few days. I hope not to be going anywhere.
Weird on the counter...
but I'm still here. :)
Elie - A day with out visiting your site is almost like missing the Daf Hayomi
Thanks to all for the confirmation that you're there! Your support always counts for a lot, even whether you're not actually being counted.
Sitemeter is apparently working again, and gave me back my missing hits for the past few days.
Woohoo.
Yo! Or in a JBlogger's case...OY!
