Happy Birthday, Dear Bobby

"He's so unhip that when you say 'Dylan',
He thinks you're talking about Dylan Thomas,
Whoever he was."
- Simon and Garfunkel, "A Simple Desultory Philippic"

Nice Jewish boy Robert Allen Zimmerman, better known by his pseudonym of Bob Dylan, turned 65 today!

May he be as productive the rest of the way to 120, as he has been so far.

And though he may be ready for social security on the calendar, may he stay forever young in outlook!

Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
- Bob Dylan, "My Back Pages"
