OK, I'm as big a Star Trek fan as any other introverted geek of my age group, but this is totally over the edge! William Shatner's kidney stone just sold for $25,000 in an on-line charity auction. Hey, far be it from me to discourage anyone's benevolent impulses, but gah-ross!!

Now if they were selling Leonard Nimoy's ear wax, I could see it... (can't take credit for that one, it was in an old MAD magazine from the 70s)
